I was Chuck from Pushing Daisies on Saturday for a Halloween party. I went to Michael’s and didn’t like their selection of daisies so I got a sunflower instead. I took this picture without the flash, hence the orange tint and blur.

This weekend was the NACA Mid-Atlantic Conference in Lancaster, PA. We were inside most of the time, but when we finally had some free time, this lovely weather is what was there to greet us.

My absentee ballot came in the mail a few days ago. It’s the first election I can take part in, since I missed the 2004 one by about three months. I don’t think absentee ballots necessarily count, since they can be handed in days later, but it’ll still be exciting to vote.

The Prospect Park Zoo isn’t as big as the Bronx Zoo, but it’s still adorable. These little guys were staring at a kid in a stroller, and they were just fixated. So I took that opportunity to snap a picture of them while they weren’t paying attention. I didn’t actually pet any animals in the petting zoo, but they were still cute.

I went to the Rangers/Leafs game on Friday, and it was the first game I’d been to in awhile that went into a shootout. Apparently it was the first time in more than 50 years that NY/TOR finished regulation with a scoreless tie.
Yes, I know the picture is a few days old but I don’t really have computer access on weekends so it’s a little bit late!
