Below are ten random facts about myself so you can understand that I’m a quirky individual and maybe somewhat interesting.
In no particular order:
1) I love telling people they smell good. Honestly, if you do, I’m not afraid to mention it. A random “hey, you smell good today” does wonders for one’s self esteem.
2) I’ve only seen Robert Duvall in a few movies, but I love him and Tom Hagen. I like to think he’s still that young, and that it hasn’t been almost forty years and that he isn’t incredibly old.
3) I enjoy music, and I enjoy hearing a song on the radio and then googling the lyrics and downloading it. What is interesting about this fact is that on several occasions I have downloaded a song only to realize I already own it, and have listened to it several times.
4) I strongly dislike my given name, Cynthia. I’ve gone as Cindie my entire life (well, I changed the spelling from Cindy in seventh grade) and don’t intend on being referred to as Cynthia anytime soon. I also strongly dislike that awkward moment when I visibly twitch as someone I’ve never met before calls me Cynthia because they don’t know any better, and I feel bad correcting them.
5) I tend to give inanimate objects names. My computer’s name is Desmond and my iPod’s name is Jin (both after Lost characters, yes), and there are so many ridiculous examples that listing them all here would be silly.
6 – 10 will be filled out later when I think of more interesting things about myself. It’s probably a poor reflection of my brainstorming skills if I can only think of five things about myself that could potentially be of any interest to other people.
